Las celebraciones del Carnaval 2008 por muchos puntos de la geografía extremeña ha dejado a este próximo fin de semana polideportivo, vacante en muchas competiciones. En fútbol, el Extremadura UD de Primera Regional descansará hasta la semana siguiente, fecha en la que nuevamente deberá jugar en es estadio Francisco de la Hera ante el Alfar Salvatierra. Y también descansará el Atlético San José de Liga Juvenil.Por su parte, sí habrá competición en Regional Preferente. El CF Extremadura abrirá la jornada en el grupo 2 en campo del Monesterio, el sábado a las 16.30 horas. Mientras, el Atlético San José buscará el domingo a las 12 horas su tercer triunfo consecutivo ante un complejo rival, el UD Badajoz, segundo clasificado.
También habrá competición para las chicas de Las Mercedes en Primera Nacional. Las de Juan Cortés jugarán en tierras andaluzas ante el Algaidas, el domingo a las doce y media.
En Baloncesto, sí habrá competición para el CB Hartizza Almendralejo que se juega gran parte de sus aspiraciones de la temporada en la cancha del Baloncesto Ejido. El envite será el domingo a partir de las 12.30 horas.
Más descanso
Otros que descansará será el Club Balonmano Tierra de Barros. Una lástima, porque los de Tomás Bravo se encontraban en buena forma tras la última victoria en casa.
Quienes sí jugarán serán los clubes del AD Voleyball Almendralejo. Lo harán durante la jornada sabatina. Los chicos a las 18 horas en pista del Tres Cantos; las chicas a las 19 horas en cancha del Torrejón. Ambos, por lo tanto, en tierras madrileñas.
